Editing process

I used Adobe Photoshop for my magazines. I learnt most of what I present here through experimenting with Photoshop.

Part of the process featured gradients:

I took the pre-sets and changed or inverted the colours. Then I dragged the line across the screen to change the background. I also used the magic wand tool, to highlight bigger areas and delete them. However, at some points, it covered the model, so i used the standard eraser tool instead. I had to be aware of which layer, as well, otherwise it would erase or select the wrong areas. there was an undo feature though, so mistakes could be corrected.

I grouped layers together to move them more efficiently (CTRL+G).

In order to colour the text I highlighted the layer and used the eye dropper tool to select the colour I wanted. I then switched the gradient tool to the paint bucket.
