Tie

This man has more than one tie presenting his smartness, he has several backup ties from Next. £10- cheap, yet effective in setting that first impression to your employer, or as a businessman. It's also available in blue- which do you prefer? I recommend black- it complements the white shirt. The tie in his image is one best suited for a company party, with a graceful image of a swan weaved into a pattern.

Shoes

Clarks would like to show his contribution in the form of dark brown shoes. At £34, there is a significant price difference, but these hold a longer warranty than any tie we can think of. We personally tried these shoes and they grew comfortable very quickly. We don't need to speak of their durability: the cost, and the brand, guarantees at least four years before being considerably worn out. Not a must buy, but worth every pound.

Suit

Finally, the actual suit. Nothing says sharp and attentive to detail than a black suit. Even when rented, it shows how much you care about that all-important first impression. The classics are a prime example of, "if it isn't broke, don't fix it."
